Framlingham, Suffolk
Apart from the fact that Mary I was proclaimed queen at Framlingham in 1553 the reference to the Botetourts is a bit of a mystery to me.
There is a possible connection between Framlingham, the Bigot's, and Botetourt due to the geographic location of Framlingham and the "official" manor of Sir John de Botetourt, Guy de Botetourt, at Ellingham, Norfolk. Geographic coalescence is not sufficient to confirm this connection.
Botetourt on geni.com and Wikipedia
The page for Guy de Botetourt that can be found on geni.com makes reference to Framlingham Castle.
The Wikipedia page also makes this reference but I cannot confirm it. The date is 1314 on the Wikipedia page which is before the battle of Boroughbridge in 1322.
