The Lovejoy Legacy
I live in Lovejoy Country. I visit filming locations on a daily basis.
The TV series ended with the episode shot in Belchamp Walter, the hall and the church.
Over the years many locations in Essex and Suffolk were used a sets. Venice and Prague were also used in some of the episodes. What I will attempt to do here is to watch the series again and post photographs and information of how the local sets look in 2022/23.
Below is a location used in Long Melford, Suffolk where Lovejoy escaped capture through the house shown below which was an antique shop at the time of the filming.

Long Melford is also the location of the Bull Hotel where the film crew stayed during the filming of the TV series in Belchamp Walter. Felsham Hall is close-by to Long Melford and to other filming locations in North Essex and Suffolk.
Episodes
I have no wish to compete with IMDB who have synopsis' of the plots from all the episodes. My goal is to expand on this.
S1 E1 - The Firefly Cage -
Comment about Walberswick (across the river from Southwold) - the water-splash at Kersey.
- No Man's Fort, Porstmouth.
(The fort is not in "Lovejoy Country" but it was used as a set).
