Mobile Psychology

When an Internet user finds this website it is likely that they did so as the result of a search.

It is also more likely that they was looking at a page, if they have clicked on it from the results list, using a mobile phone. The page needs to have a clear statement of what the page is all about and clear way for the visitor to navigaate the page and hence the website in general.

I have found that the menu button, although being present on the mobile screen, was not obvious that it was a clickable element on the screen. This was due to the fact that I had made the menu button the same colour as the top bar and it looked as if the top bar was just a banner.

The Hamburger Icon and Down Caret

Although the Hamburger Icon is recognised as a menu "device" a down caret indicates a "drop-down" (even if it isn't).
