Cursor Pointer Control

I maybe getting senile or just going blind, but using Windows 11 I have noticed that I am having problems seeing the mouse cursor when I am editing a document. Whether there was a setting in Windows 10 that I didn't realise, but the mouse pointer gets hidden when I am editing and doesn't aways come back.

To get the cursor to display there is a setting that will re-display it when you press the Ctrl key. However this does not aways seem to work? Hiding on edit seems to be a good idea but it you need to edit on an another part of the page then you cannot always see it.

The hide cursor on edit acually works well, but you have to run the cursor off the editing area and then back again.
