Analytics and Stats for the Village Hall Website

The Wordpress.com user interface provides a pretty good means of tracking visitors. This seems to be part of the Jetpack implementation. It does track my own visits

I am not sure that there are many visits from Villagers

For example, if I am asked to put something on the website and I do I don't understand why there are no additional visits.

Update - November 2022

The village domain Wordpress subscription has long expired and the mapping of the domain name no longer points to the now "personal", free, website. While it has been noticed that an error message is displayed if the old URL is used to access the site so far nobody has complained!

The domain name is still registered until 21 Feb 2024. If the subscription were to be renewed then all the documentation that still has this domain name the error message will go away. Seeing as no one has complained and you can find the address and the site by making an Internet search I don't see the point. Even Braintree District Council have updated the web address on their website (that is the major source of access currently shown in the access logs), but have an email contact to an address on lineone.net (tar_bw@lineone.net - this has long expired, but we know who had this email address).
