Social Engineering - is this a "technical" issue?
I have been saying for years that the root of most security issues is Social Engineering.
Windows 10 in S-Mode
Microsoft seem to have decided that a way of making Windows a "safer" place is to follow Google's lead in a similar way to the Chromebook. Windows 10 in S-Mode will not install apps and programs that are not hosted on the Microsoft Store. This way anything malicous can be screened.
The problem with this approach is that it is only likely to work for those that are not at risk in the first place. All it will do is frustrate those that want to run less that "above board" software so that they switch S-Mode off!
